In times of grief and loss, it usually doesn’t help to try to “get over” the pain as quickly as possible. It is more helpful to accompany the pain, to learn to be with it, and to move at our own pace. I strive for an empathetic and accepting attitude, so I can be with you in the ebb and flow of your emotions, in understanding the meaning of the relationship, and—when the time comes—in exploring the possibilities of moving forward.
