Person-centered psychological counseling
— Ványi Dániel

An open, accepting space – conversations for self-exploration that help you get closer to your own solution.

Counseling

"Every moment in which you are present, opens the possibility of presence in those around you."

(Ken McLeod)

In my experience, in most cases people have the resources to overcome their difficulties, but sometimes it can be hard to access these resources on their own. In these cases counseling can be helpful.

As a facilitator of personal discovery, my primary aim is to support those who turn to me in their process of self-exploration. I strive to be attentive and present throughout this journey, and to openly welcome the experiences and insights that arise. I don’t just listen to you — I also share my own perspective or feelings when I sense that it might help you better understand and accept your experiences, and foster change in your viewpoints, emotions, and reactions. I don’t stick to dogmas; instead, I respond to the specific situation and individual. I aim to be open, free, honest, and compassionate in our connection.

Each person knows best their own life, their own experiences, therefore I cannot tell someone else what would be right for them (right decision, direction, goal, etc.) But I can assist them in discovering that for themselves.

My service does not aim at curing diseases. I help people in overcoming their stuckness in life by facilitating their personal development and self-exploration.

In my experience, supportive conversations work just as well online as they do in person. I am currently working online.
